Barbara Jean Handy McMahan, 88 of Mtn Home, Idaho, passed away on Jan. 9, 2017.
Barbara was born March 10, 1928 in Browns Valley, Calif and lived on the family dairy farm with her parents, six brothers and four sisters. She graduated from Marysville High School. She married James McMahan on July 8, 1950 and they were sealed in the Oakland Temple on June 17, 1972.
In 1953, they moved to Foresthill with their daughters and were known for the McMahan Choose and Cut Christmas Tree Farm. She served the community as a 4-H leader and helped in many Divide events.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and all her brothers and sisters.
Survived by her daughters, 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, three more greats due this year and her beloved dog, Charlie.
Burial at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise.
