Mrs. Ruth Stevenson Owen Cochran, 96, of Senoia, GA passed away Monday, 16 Jan 2017 at Southland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peachtree City, GA.

Mrs. Cochran was born 17 Mar 1920 in Coweta County, GA, daughter of the late Claude Martin Stevenson and Ida Daniel Stevenson. A resident of Senoia for 56 years, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Senoia and was retired from Playtex International in Newnan, GA. Mrs. Cochran enjoyed flower gardening and maintaining the grounds at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Milner Owen and Billy Joe Cochran.

She is survived by her sisters, Grace Pritchett and Emily Bee Milliner, both of Newnan, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, 19 Jan 2017 at graveside in the Senoia City Cemetery with Rev Randall Hodge officiating.

Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville, GA are in charge of arrangements.
