She was a member of the Church of God.
She was survived by her children, Claude Farmer of Stamping Ground, Sylvia Sears of Mt. Victory, Doris Lay of Liberty, and Fern VanHook of Nicholasville; her sisters, Ina Zachary of Somerset and Maudie Nelson of Somerset; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John K. Sears and Cordelia (Farmer) Sears; her husband, Willie C. "Ped" Farmer; her child, Dana Farmer; and her siblings, Florence Lumbert, Sissy Barnes, Martha Miller, Robert Sears, Albert Sears, and Bertie Sears.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Sears and Reverend Rodney Cundiff officiating.
