He was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Cambridge, son of the late John B. Heddleson and Mary Ellen (Ogle) Heddleson.
Mr. Heddleson had worked as a driver supervisor for Roadway Express and later retired from the City of Cambridge, where he had been a sewer plant operator for many years.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Cambridge and a 1949 graduate of New Concord High School.
Heddleson was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Cambridge Masonic Lodge. In addition to being an avid deer hunter, his other hobbies included fishing, gardening and watching golf.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Heddleson; and a sister, Mary Kohler.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dixie (Riley) Heddleson, whom he married Feb. 23, 1957.
