Leon C. McGinness
Services will be held tomorrow at 2:30 p. m. in the McCrery Funeral Home, 2700 Washington Street, for Leon C. McGinness, 56, of 1216 Market Street, who died Monday in The Memorial Hospital after a week’s illness.
Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, with the Rev. George Moore, pastor of Mt. Salem Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight after 7.
A native of Wilmington, he was supervisor of the store stockroom of Keil’s Motor Company for the past 12 years. He was a veteran of World War II with the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Verna M. McGinness; a daughter, Mrs. Anna M. Price, and a son, Edward, both of Wilmington; three brothers, Harvey M. of Greenville, S. C., Alvan of Charleston, Md., and Gerald of Wilmington.
