Deborah Diane "Debbie" Grubaugh was born in 1962 to William Dale Grubaugh and Alice Faye "Sally" Lear. She was the fifth of seven children born to her parents. She married Charles Lee Ellis in Summit County, OH on 2 Nov 1979. Debbie died as a result of lung cancer which was discovered a year ago. She underwent surgery but declined steadily. She died on her 55th birthday. Funeral arrangements are currently pending, but she will be cremated and her ashed placed in Greenwood Cemetery.

Deborah Ellis

Deborah Ellis (nee Grubaugh) was called home on her 55th birthday, Tuesday, January 17th. She fought a courageous battle with lung cancer and is now at peace with her sweet daughter, Amber in Heaven with our Lord.

She was beloved by a large family and many friends and will be sincerely missed.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
