John Luther Agee, 73, of Athens, Alabama, died on January 12, 2017. He was born on September 21, 1943 to Ottis Herman Agee and Floy (Allen) Agee. He attended Tanner High School. He was a member of Central Church of Christ. He ran the family business of Reid Grocery, retired from Valley Steel Construction and worked with the Limestone County Sheriff's Department. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy (Holland) Agee; and sister, Annie Ruth Raney. He is survived by his son, daughter, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral: 3:00 p.m. January 15, 2017 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
