Mrs. Sarah Ella Zimmerman, 79 years old, of Advance Route 1, died at a hospital here this morning. Born Aug 26, 1886, at Allenville, she attended the Oak Valley, School. On Oct 23, 1904, she, married Dallas H. Zimmerman, who died in 1957. She had lived in the Delta community area all her life.
Surviving are four sons, Charles Zimmerman, Cape Girardeau, Glenn and Leon Zimmerman, Vassar, Mich., and Kenneth Zimmerman, at the home; five daughters, Mrs. Beulah Whybark, Vassar, Mrs. Edna Welch and Mrs. Terry I (Lucille) Long, Cape Girardeau, Mrs. Caroline Isbell, De Soto, and Miss Lois Zimmerman, at the home; a half-brother, Jake Waddle, Delta; a half-sister, Mrs. Lorene Wilkerson, Delta; 15 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
The body is at Brinkopf-Howell Funeral Home where funeral service arrangements are incomplete.
