Diane Marie Murray, 59, of Portumna, Ireland passed away January 15, 2017 her daughter’s home in Summerfield, Florida.

Diane was born on April 5, 1957 in Bangor, Maine a daughter of Arthur and Florence Briggs of Summerfield, FL. She has worked as Director of Development for Penobscot Marine Museum in Searsport, Maine as a Human Resources Manager, President and Founder of New Life Mission, a non-profit organization, and as a business founder and owner of Kylemore Acres, in County Galway, Ireland. She has a Master’s degree in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy.

She will be deeply missed by her parents and daughters Julie Hartman (Joey) of Summerfield, FL; Kristi Matthews of Belfast, ME and Jaclyn Gordon of Jackson, ME. She also leaves behind brothers Bruce Briggs of Oxford, FL; Daniel Briggs of Oxford, FL; Donald Briggs of China, Randy Briggs of Norway and sister, Gaylene Myer of Chicago, IL. She has 5 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Calvary Apostolic Church in Oxford, FL at 6pm. Arrangements entrusted to the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Rd., Belleview, FL 34420. Condolences may be left at Hiers-Baxley.com
