Mrs. Clara Lang was born in Missouri to a large family that moved to Arkansas to farm and care for the land. Clara and her family were forced to come to Alabama by the great flood. She met her husband Vance here and together they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary before his death in 1986. They had enjoyed farming and then gardening when Mr. Lang worked for the local rock quarry.

Mrs. Clara Lang is survived by a son L.V. Lang of Arab, Alabama; daughter Dottie Sue Harvell of Guntersville, Alabama; one sister Georgia Mason of Guntersville, Alabama; two grandchildren: Janella Chenoweth and Lyle Lang of Arab, Alabama; and one great-grandson: Gunter Vance Chenoweth of Arab. A son, Harvey D. Lang, preceded Clara in death.

She is missed by all that knew and loved her.
