Mrs. Alice I. Sterner, 63, of 23 Russell St., Bleakley Hill, died at 2:20 am Friday in the Oil City Hospital. Born December 10, 1905, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Marvin A. and Mary M. Whitten.
She spent her entire life in Franklin, and was a member of Fox Street Church of God in Rocky Grove.
She married Jesse C. Sterner, who survives, with a son, Thomas D. Osborne; two brothers, Lawrence of Rocky Grove and Harry Whitten of Victory Heights; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Florence) Emerson of Franklin RD#3; and 3 grandchildren.
Services will be in the Buchanan and Schmidt Funeral Home with Rev. Frank A. Towers, pastor of Fox Street Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
