Mrs. Nancy Jenkins Camp, age 76, of Old Collard Valley Road, Aragon, GA passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 at her residence following a brief illness.

She was born in Young Harris, GA on January 9, 1934 a daughter of the late William Jenkins and Jessie Coker Jenkins. Mrs. Camp was a graduate of O?Keefee High School of Atlanta. She was a former resident of Florida but had lived the greater part of her life here in Polk County. Mrs. Camp was a self employed private duty nurse for twenty five years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lewis Camp on May 10, 2010 and by a sister Mrs. Margie Ray.

Survivors include two daughters: Cathy Samuels, Rockmart and Kimberly Camp, Aragon; four sons: Mark Camp, Rockmart, Dale Camp, Gainesville, GA, Alan Camp, Rockmart and John Camp, Gainesville, GA; two sisters: Winnie Dupont , Gulf Shores, AL and Billye Dunkerly, Durango, Colorado; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Tony Weaver officiating and Dylan Bailey reading a poem.Cremation will follow the funeral service with the cremains placed in the Lakeside mausoleum of Memorial Park Cemetery, Gainesville, GA.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
