Melvin Alex Harvey of Tyler died January 12, 2017. He was born October 6, 1948 to the late James Horace and Gladys Marie Morgan Harvey. He was the owner of M.A Harvey Plumbing Co. for 40 years. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by wife, Sherry Harvey; children, Melissa Sanders, Rick Harvey and Jeremy Harvey. Grandchildren, Alex Harvey, Meagan Potter, Paxton Potter, Carver Sanders, Adison Sanders and Slater Harvey. Son-in-law, Shay Sanders and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Harvey. Visitation will be held 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday, January 15 at Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home and services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday January 16 at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.
