Dixie Kunz, daughter of James L. and Ida (Schaubert) Kunz, was born November 13, 1938 at Bowdon where she lived her first years and began school. At the age of 12, she moved to Valley City and later to Moorhead, MN.
Dixie was once married to Raymond Korf and later to Henry Brown.
Dixie worked as a waitress in restaurants in Valley City and Fargo for a number of years. She later moved to Carrington where she operated a day care business for a time.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Mark Korf and Brent Korf of Valley City and Kent (Linda) Korf of Sanborn; 3 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-great-grandchild; and one brother, Dalla Kunz of Bowdon.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Jimmy and Garry; and 3 sisters, Margie Meyers and Karen and Gloria Kunz.
