Ora's parents were Benjamin Franklin Cozad b: Aug 8, 1840 in PA, d: July 3, 1883 in Iowa, and her mother Mary A Hill b: Nov 17 1850 in PA, d:June 8, 1933 in Iowa.
Ora Cozad was born near Newhall. Benton county, Iowa, March 21, 1876, and died at her home in Paullina March 8, 1907.
She was married to H.E. Troutman on September 6. 1804.
There have been born to them two daughters, Mae LaVon and Effie Edna
She is survived by her husband, H. E. Troutman, her mother, Mrs. Addie Cozad, one sister, Mrs. W. W. Coder, of Paullina, one brother, Ed Cozad, of Benton county, and her two daughters, Mae and Elite.
Mrs. Troutman was always of a jovial, light-hearted disposition, thus making her way into the friendship of all who knew her She was an active and enthusiastic worker in the Ladies Aid Society, being one of the officers of that society, and a member of the Home Missionary Society of the Methodist church. From these and all church services, of which she was a faithful attendant, she will be missed.
