Obituary
Frances Victoria Rivett, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 3, 2006. She was 86 years young. Frances was born August 13, 1919 and raised by her loving parents, Fred and Mary Grande in San Francisco, CA. She spent most of her adult years living in Napa, CA where she worked for the City of Napa Water Department. Frances was very involved in church activities and charities. She also won many awards for her culinary skills at the Napa County Fair. Frances and her husband, Sam enjoyed showing their beloved poodles for many years. They had their trophies displayed proudly throughout their home. Ballroom dancing on a regular basis was at the top of Fran & Sam's list. France's later years were spent in Stockton, CA with her family. Frances was preceded in death by husband, Sam and sadly this past year by daughter, Norma Jean Halter. We take comfort in the knowledge they are together again. Her granddaughter, Francine stayed by her side, caring for her until the end. Frances leaves behind her five grandchildren, Rocky, James, Francine, Becky and Danny. And two sisters, Marie Turpin and Virginia Behringer. She also leaves behind 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed by her family and many friends.

Keep on dancing, Frannie.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 8, 2006 at noon. Following the service there will be a reception at the
Sonoma Valley Community Church, 181 Chase Street, Sonoma, CA.
