Maude Ester Burkhead was born to Edward Inyard and Viola Miller. She was a devout Christian for the largest part of her life. Maude Ester married James Arlo Burkhead and together had five children during their life together. Ester was beloved and held in the highest regard by everyone who ever met her. Ester was preceded in death by her husband Arlo and her daughter Betty Sue Hyatt. She is leaving behind four loving children: James Lloyd Burkhead, Edward Lee Burkhead , Wanda Ann Wills, and Shari Lynn Clark. Ester was blessed with many grandchildren, all which adored their grandmother.
Ester was soft spoken, talented and patient country girl. She could be found often reading her bible or singing praises to the Lord.
