Florine “Toots” Anna Garner, 80, of Monett went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Thursday January 12, 2017 while staying at Lacoba Home in Monett.

She was born in Verona, Missouri on July 5, 1936, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Sperandio) Probstfield. She was united in marriage on September 11, 1965 in Santa Paula, California to Paul Garner, he preceded her in death on December 5, 2007.

She was a retired Dietary Aide and a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett.

Toots is survived by two sons, Mark and Alan Garner both of Monett; two daughters, Mary Reana of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Amy Harris of Exeter, Missouri; two brothers, David Probstfield of Monett and Danny Probstfield of Springfield; two sisters, Pauline Kelley of Monett and Christene Fischer of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Toots is being held on Friday January 20, 2017 from 6p-8p at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri. Mass is being held on Saturday January 21, 2017 at 10a at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett, Missouri with Father Hank Grodecki officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.

Memorial donations for Toots may be made to the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett, Missouri.
