BECKMAN, Beulah Mae, of Flint Township, age 89, died Thursday, July 25, 2002 at Montrose Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, Elder Mary Hatcher officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Mrs. Beckman will lie in state at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home, G-1208 North Ballenger Hwy., Flint Township, where friends may call 6-9PM Saturday and Noon-9 PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a family memorial fund. Beulah was born February 7, 1913 in Pulaski, Tennessee. She had resided in Flint for the past 30 years, coming here from Rockford, Illinois. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of Gospelway Grace of God Church, Mt. Morris. Surviving are: daughter, Lucille and husband Ben Robinson of Flint Township; 3 sons, Charles and wife Rosemary of Burton, Bill and wife Jeanette of Haleyville, Alabama, Harrill Wayne and wife Donna of Earlville, Illinois; sisters, Irene Saban of Southfield, Gladys Neeley of Pacific, Mo., Louise Newell of St. Louis, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harrill, four infant daughters and two brothers.
