Rev. Larry Charles Dale, 80, Greentown, passed away at 12:31 am on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Century Villa Health Care in Greentown. He was born January 31, 1936, in Kokomo, the son of the late Lavon & Evelyn (Brown) Dale. On October 3, 1957, in Kokomo, he married Susie Smith, and she survives.
Larry was a 1954 graduate of Sharpsville High School, and a 1971 graduate from the Nazarene Bible College. He served as minister for the Nazarene Church for 25 years.
Larry is survived by his wife, Susie Dale, Greentown; his children, Terry (Heather) Dale, Rebekah (Bobby) Gillum, and Paul (Tiffany) Dale; six grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Kent Dale and Darlene Hinshaw.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Gerry Dale, his daughter, Teresa Reece and his grandson, Jeremy Dale.
Funeral services honoring Rev. Larry will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 West Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Rev. Wayne Bogue officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 pm until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
