Wilma June Harris 77 of Ralls passed away Friday January 13, 2017.
She was born June 17, 1939 in Lorenzo Texas to Dennis and Lena McKinley McCauley.
She married Jim Harris Sr. on June 7, 1957 in Ralls.
June loved to write poems and short stories, she visiting with her family and friends and shared the gospel every chance she got, often holding Bible studies for the neighborhood kids. She would also cook meals for the people in Ralls not able to get out. She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
June was preceded in death by her husband and parents and a son Joe Harris.
She is Survived by three sons; Bill Harris and wife Mary of Idalou, Jim Harris Jr. and wife Donna of Tyler, David Harris and wife Delhanna of Ralls, and Bruce Harris and wife Angela of Ralls. She also leaves ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday January16, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Ralls. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. A visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 3:00 pm. till 4:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
