Born to Steven Lee & Stella Patricia (Woods) Lambert, one of four children. She grew up in Oregon. She later moved to Plattsburg, MO where she graduated from high school in 1984, She furthered her education at TAD Technical Institute in Kansas City.

She married Kenneth (Kenny) Cooper on March 11, 1995 Butler, Bates, MO with Pastor Shelley Schuman solemnizing, and to this union three children were born. She worked as a nurse's aide for most of her career. She attended the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Butler, MO.

Kimberly enjoyed following Royals baseball and Chiefs football, watching John Wayne westerns, drinking coffee and listening to all music. She was strong willed, possessed a big heart and was compassionate--a trait that showed in the care of her patients.

She is survived by her loving husband, one son and two daughters; one brother and two sisters, She was preceded in death by her parents.
