William "Bill" K. Oswald, 71, of Summerville, husband of Jeanette (Driggers) Oswald, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at his residence.

Friends and family are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock PM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11 o'clock AM at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 3 o'clock PM at Unity Baptist Church Cemetery, 3145 Dragstrip Road, North, SC.

Bill was born on July 11, 1945 in Columbia, SC son of the late O'Neal Oswald and Judie Lou Chavis. Mr. Oswald was a veteran of the US Army. He was a Service Manager for heavy equipment in civilian life. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and hunting. He enjoyed collecting guns. Most importantly he enjoyed being around his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are: one daughter: Rebecca Ambrose (Charles) of Summerville; four grandchildren: Christopher, Charlie, Sarah and Caithlin; two sisters: Jane Jones (David) and Betty Garrett (Bill); one brother: Stanley Aldrich (Melody); his beloved pet, Neiko.

He was predeceased by his brother, O'Neal Oswald, Jr. Flowers will be accepted.
