Mrs. Martha O'Connor
WHITESBORO - Mrs. Martha O'Connor, 81, of Oriskany Blvd died yesterday in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital
Center. She was born in Utica, daughter of Jacob and Catherine Kohli Rieben, and attended local schools She was married to Edward F. O'Connor in 1917. He died in 1966.
She had resided in Whitesboro several years. Mrs. O'Connor was a member of St. Paul's Church.
She is survived by nine sons, Robert, Albert, and Myles, all of Whitesboro; Clifford, Edward and Donald,
all of Oriskany; Raymond of Utica, Thomas of Marcy and William O'Connor of Troy, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs.
Emmet (Hilda) Ogden of Utica and Mrs. Margaret Cresswell of Clinton; and a brother, Albert Rieben of New Hartford.

Miss Martha Rieben Entertained Company of Friends
A birthday party was given Tuesday evening at the home of Miss Martha Rieben. 143 Eagle Street. Piano solos were rendered by Miss Flora Willis and Miss Margaret Cullen. Vocal solos by Herbert Schrader, accompanied by Miss Lois Hammes and Miss Gertrude Morrison. Albert Christ gave a recitation entitled. "The Golden Haired Baby." Supper was served by Miss Clara Rieben and Miss Mary Hofness. The merry company parted at a late hour, showering the hostess with congratulations on the successful affair. (This was Martha's 18th birthday. Her sister Clara was 15 years old at the time.)
