Together Again
Age 84, of Canton died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center following an extended illness. Born December 29, 1932 in Canton, Ohio to the late Fred and Zella (Dyer) Gogerty. She was a life resident of the Canton area and a graduate of Canton South High School. Marilyn retired as a supervisor from Stark County Job and Family services in 1994. She was a member of Waco Epworth United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Fox in 2013; six sisters and one brother. She is survived by one daughter, Zella Cooper of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Susan Fox of Ingalls, Ind., Thomas W. and Stephanie Fox of Shepherdsville, Ky.; 13 grandchildren, Gregory (Valarie) Talbot, David, Christopher, Daniel (Mirissa), Ian, Samantha and Kyle Fox, Brian, Brandon (Jana), Michael (Jessica), Matthew (Lisa), Joseph (Taylor) and Adam Cooper; seven great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Natalie and Elijah Talbot, Kayla, Chloe, Lillian and Thomas Cooper; one sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Ralph Dazey of East Sparta; many extended family; and Florida “Snow Bird” friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, Jan 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Waco Epworth United Methodist Church, 2150 17th Street SE, Canton, OH. 44707, with Pastor Dan Edwards officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church from 10 – 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Waco Epworth United Methodist Church.
