Baker, Larry Anthony “Tony” 46, was called home on January 11th, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital.
Tony was proceeded in life by a host of family and friends. He is followed in life by his partner, Chad Fox; father, Larry Baker; mother, Carol Baker; brother, Travis Baker; sister-in-law, Shannon Baker; nieces, Allyson and Makayla Baker; grandfather, William Bacon; father-in-law, Fred Fox; mother-in-law, Joyce Fox; brother-in-law, Matt Fox; sister-in-law, Andrea Fox; nephew-in-law, Collin Fox; niece-in-law, Madayln Fox; fur babies, Paco, Bruiser, Rizzo; and his kiddos at Rehab Bar & Grill.

Born June 16th, 1970 in Rolla, MO, Tony graduated from Rolla High School in 1988 and attended Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. Shortly afterward he met the love of his life on January 18th and together they created the on-stage persona of Victoria Rose. For 25 years he was always head over heels for Victoria. He utilized his creativity, and passion for fashion, to bring the backwoods Barbie to life. He was always guiding Victoria and selecting new music for her to perform. He truly loved shows and being a “drag husband”.

After a few years together in Springfield they made the big move to St. Louis, MO to start the next chapters of their lives. Tony worked in managerial roles before investing in Rehab Bar & Grill as the Office Manager. He could always be found in deep conversation with family or strangers alike. His quick wit, joyful smile, and charismatic approach towards others made him beloved by all. There wasn’t a room he couldn’t brighten, or a moment he couldn’t lighten, with laughter. In life there were three things he excelled at – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. His gift to create and enjoy food was his favorite pastime.

We often wonder what life would be like without the ones we love. We wouldn’t have gotten to see their smiles, feel their touch, or kiss their lips. So many memories would have never been made. Time would have simply passed without them in our lives. For 25 wonderful years we have had the privilege of knowing a wonderful friend, companion, and a man we were proud to call our brother. Heaven could not have received a more wonderful soul. He will brighten their way for the rest of eternity with his gracious smile and his wonderful glow. We love you Tony. Rest in eternal peace until we meet again brother.

Services: Arrangements are being orchestrated by Kutis Funeral Home at 10151 Gravois Rd; St. Louis, MO; 63123.
