Thomas “Nat” Nathaniel Alewine, born March 14, 1945, in Del Rio, Texas died Jan 13, 2017, in Waco, Texas. at 71. He was preceded in death by his Parents-- (mother) Marie Meredith, (Father/ stepmother) Cecil and Pauline Alewine, (Sisters) Roseanna Dozier, Minnie Meredith, Christine “Sissy”, (Brother) “Bubba” Cecil Jr., (Grandparents) Jasper and Rose Alewine, Thomas and Minnie Lyons.

He is survived by his wife, five sons, three daughters, four brothers, six sisters, numerous grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.

Nat fell in love with music at an early age. His first instrument was an Acoustic guitar and then moved on to the upright Bass. He could also play the mandolin, French harp, and fiddle. He played country western and Gospel music. He was an advid outdoorsman and his favorite pass time was Fishing, talking about fishing , and collecting various fishing poles.
