A lifelong resident of Reidville, son of the late Edward Gordon and Vestalia Snow Pearson, he was a retired employee of Springs Industries and a life member of Sharon United Methodist Church. Mr. Pearson was a member of Reidville Masonic Lodge #102.
Surviving are one son, Mark Pearson of Greer; a special friend, Ruth Ellen Clayton and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pearson was predeceased by one brother, William E. “Bill” Pearson and three sisters, Sara Pearson Dillard, Edith Pearson Busby and Nell Pearson.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017 conducted by Rev. Bryson Williams and Rev. Rance Sprayberry.
Visitation will be held after the service at the gravesite.
The family is at the home of the son.
