Stephen Elliott Fendley, age 77, of Hot Springs, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017. He was born on April 23, 1939, in Bonnerdale, the son of Henry Olen Fendley and Ines Lambert Fendley.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Olen Junior Fendley.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed antique cars and watching NASCAR racing. Stephen was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, one son, three daughters and sons-in-law, two brothers and two sisters-in-law, two sisters and one brother-in-law, nine grandchildren, one great-grandson, several nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2017, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2017, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hot Springs.
