Eula Winfred 'Boo' Harrell was born in Whitakers, North Carolina on June 14, 1915, and died at home in St. Petersburg, Florida, January 17, 1996. She lived in Norfolk, Virginia early in her marriage and moved to Jacksonville, Florida, when her husband was transferred working for Sears. After Roy Harrell retired from Sears, they moved to St. Petersburg, Florida. Boo was a member and greeter for more than 30 years at Pasadena Community Church. She was also very active with various groups with the church. Boo belonged to the Pasadena Yacht and Country Club.
Survivors include a son, Roy G. Harrell, Jr., of St. Petersburg: a daughter, Patricia R. Garcia, of Bowie, Maryland: two brothers, William H. Batts, of Raleigh, North Carolina and Jerry T. Batts, Jr. of Norfolk, Virginia; a sister, Ruth E. Reaser, of Sun City, Arizona; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
