Shelia was educated in the Richmond Public School System and graduated from Armstrong High School in 1966.
Shelia married and had three children, Carlos Holden, Tamara Woody and Garrison Smith. She worked for VCU/MCV for 33 years as a supervisor in the Psychiatric Division until she retired in 2013.
Shelia accepted Christ and was consistent and serious in her walk of faith. She was faithful in her Christian walk.
Surviving to cherish Shelia's memory are her daughter; Tamara Woody; son, Garrison Smith; brother, Morris Holden; sister, Thelma Myers; grandchildren, Taylor Woody, Carlisa Holden, Rajaiyah Freeman, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
