Karen Elizabeth Bush, 70 of Verdunville, WV departed this life on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born August 27, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY a daughter of Virginia Nemecek and the late Edward Nemecek.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amanda Sparks, two brothers, Phillip and Joe and her father and mother-in-law.

Karen enjoyed shopping, spending time with her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish his memory include her husband, Paul Bush; four daughters and their husbands, Kim & Bill Sparks, Melissa & Jim Pennington, Paula & DJ Fields, and Pam & Wes Belcher; one son and his wife, Joshua & Angel Bush; one sister, Amy; one brother, Tom Nemecek; eleven grandchildren, Jessica Sparks, Joey Sparks, Kaitlyn Bush, Amy Fields, Wesley Fields, Ashlyn Bush, Ryan Pennington, Chris Pennington, Cordell McMaster, Braden McMaster, and Braydon Bush; six great-grandchildren, Keelyn Perry, Livia Perry, Makenna Hayes, Blake Lucas, Aira Sparks and Cannon Pennington.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Freeman Funeral Home with Mike Hicks officiating.
