Born Ashford of parents Edmund and Joan Beeching Masterson, baptized 11 Sep 1580.

Moved to Sandwich, Kent date unknown. Sister was Blandina married to John Ellis, 30 Apr 1594 in St. Peter's Sandwich. Brother was John Masterson.


Married Mary Goodall in Leiden, The Netherlands , 1619. Sailed to Plymouth, New England onboard Mayflower II, 1629 with family.

Came to Plymouth Colony in 1629. Died in Plymouth Colony in 1633.

Married in Leiden, Holland, 23 November 1619 [NS] Mary Goodall, born about 1590 (aged sixty in 1650. She married (2) before 1 July 1633 Rev. RALPH SMITH . She died in 1659. Their 2 children: Nathaniel & Sarah (who married John Wood or Atwood).
