As Kelvin grew up he showed great interest and talent in mechanics, working in an auto shop, and took pride in working on his various cars and motorcycles. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior when he was a young boy and made a public witness of his faith through baptism on June 8, 1975 at the Enid Mennonite Brethren Church. He later became a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In 1988, after working for Huggins and Thilstead Electric Companies, Kelvin founded KC Electric Co., which grew to be one of Enid, Okla. largest electrical contracting firms.
Among his many years of involvement with the United Way, where he also had the privilege of serving as president. Kelvin married Mary Martinez on May 25, 1996.
Kelvin is survived by his wife Mary of the home, sons Michael and wife Erin, Bradly and wife Whitney, daughters Conner
Zaloudek and husband Ty, and Sydni Classen, Grandchildren; Elliot, Amelia, Eli, and one sweet girl on the way; his mother Marilyn Classen, sister Kaylene Toelle and husband Dave, brothers Kerry Classen and wife Jen, several nieces and nephews, and his biological family Dorothy and Carl Albright and three brothers and a sister.
He was preceded in death by his dad Jake Classen, paternal grandparents Peter and Katherine Classen, maternal grandparents Charles and Mary Schneider, and many other beloved family members that are rejoicing with him today in the presence of our Savior.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
