Rev. Donald "Bo" Robinson, 69, of 835 College Street, Rockmart, passed away Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, in a Rome hospital. Rev. Robinson was born Oct. 9, 1933, in Polk County and was a Baptist minister, serving Damascus Baptist Church in Floyd County, pastor and member of Friendship Grady Baptist Church, a retired Engineering Fabrics employee, and an avid fox and raccoon hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.O. "Mutt" and Lula Mae Cash Robinson; daughter, Susie Anderson; and brother, Rev. Carl Robinson. Survivors include his wife, Frances Hulsey Robinson of Rockmart; sons, Wendell "Pete" Robinson of Aragon and Bryan Robinson of Columbia, GA; brothers, Ralph Robinson and Rev. Dean Robinson and Ronnie Robinson, all of Aragon and Dell Robinson of Taylorsville; sister, Marie Forsyth of Rockmart; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. at Euharlee Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Sutton, Rev. Archie Streetman, Rev. Tim Deems, Rev. Gerald Sloman, and Rev. Green Tibbitts officiating. Interment followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews Randy Robinson, Tony Robinson, Jon Forsyth, Greg Robinson, Rodney Robinson, Tommy Robinson, Gary Forsyth and Curtis Robinson. Honorary pallbearers were fellow ministers, his fox hunting friends and nephews Roger Hulsey, Lee Forsyth, Kevin Robinson, Terry Robinson, Rick Hulsey and Dewayne Causey.
