Born on March 17, 1950 in Byron, Georgia, Sheila graduated from Crawford County High School and spent most of her life working for Wachovia Bank in and around Atlanta. She enjoyed life, and loved people and traveling. Sheila was also a great caregiver when called upon. Trusting she is with her Lord and Savior in Heaven.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert King, formerly of Lavonia, Georgia; and her parents, Emilu Aultman Walton and Jessie Lee Walton, both formerly of Crawford County.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Afterwards, Mrs. King will be laid to rest in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fort Valley.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made in memory of Sheila to the American Diabetes Association, American Diabetes Assoc., GA Affiliate, 233 Peachtree Street, Harris Tower, Ste 2225, Atlanta, GA 30303.
