Betty Jo Bacon, 64, of Port Arthur, died, Saturday, January 7, 2016 in Port Arthur.

Survivors include her husband Daniel "Danny" Bacon; her son, Daniel Leo Bacon: her daughter, Holly Bacon; a brother, Alex Rosenthal; her sisters Katheleen Phillips and Donnah Borgfield. She also, is survived by two grandchildren, Brookelynn Richard and Colt Bacon.

Betty was a devoted wife , mother and grandmother . She will always be remembered as a sweet , self less woman and will be dearly missed. She fought a long battle with cancer and never once felt sorry for herself. She still maintained watching grand kids and keeping up with daily life even though she was in so much pain. It is so hard letting her go. I only take comfort in knowing that she has gained her angel wings. She is no longer suffering . She is with her family who has previously passed and will be in the kingdom of heaven waiting to be reunited with us again. Rest in peace Momma ...we love you.

The family will receive friend from 2:00 until 3:00pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home with a Memorial Service, Celebrating her Life beginning at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel.
