Laurie Lynn Jones, 57, of Roanoke, VA and formerly of Laurel, MD passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016. She was born to the late Howard and Ossie Jones on October 7, 1959.
She worked five years in the Treasury Department and twenty-three years for the CDC as an Inventory Management Specialist. She attended First Baptist Church of Laurel and donated when she could to St. Jude and the American Cancer Society.
Laurie leaves behind a son, Christopher (Ashley) Jones; her siblings, Cecil Jones, Barry (Judith) Jones, Bonnie Anderson, Nina (Lavirt) Durrett, Lennie (Rosa) Jones, Donna Jones and LaVonne Jones; her aunts, Jean Hampton and Beattie Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
