Theresa Marie Ghekiere-Richardson went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 5, 2017.
Theresa was born on September 19, 1973 and was adopted by Paul and Irene Ghekiere in 1973. She was baptized on October 14, 1973 and confirmed in May 1987. She went to public schools and Emmanuel Christian School, graduating in 1991. She then attended the University of Great Falls receiving a Master’s degree in Counseling Physiology in 2001. Theresa married Jarrod Richardson, and they later divorced. She worked 5 years for the State of Utah for the Division of Child and Family Services, then joined Monarch Counseling, where she dedicated her life to helping children and their families.
She loved crafting, stamping, and refinishing furniture to match her décor. Theresa designed a room to the Air Force and the American flag, dedicated to her husband that served many tours overseas. Her greatest love was for her God and now she is resting in His loving arms.
Theresa is survived by her parents; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Schnider Funeral Home. A celebration of life and faith service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church, in the Columbus Center Chapel, 1601 2nd Ave. N., Great Falls, MT 59401. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
