James E. Healy, 82, Green Bay, died Friday, January 6, 2017. He was born on August 17, 1934, in Racine, WI to Bernard and Dorothy (Bush) Healy.
Jim graduated from St. Catherine’s High School in Racine, Class of 1952. He later graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. On August 23, 1958, Jim married Barbara Lettsome in Racine. He was employed by the Green Bay School District as a Special Education Teacher, Administrator, and Principal.
Jim was a longtime member of the Barbershoppers (SPEBSQSA) and sang in several quartets. He loved golfing, skiing, riding his Harley, playing the ukulele, boating, and tailgating at Lambeau. Jim leaves a long and wide trail of laughter and fun.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; three daughters and their spouses: Erin and Mark Riley, Kenosha, WI; Laura and Dave Dudley, Davidson, NC; Colleen and Steve Ruff, Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren, Sean (Natalie) Riley, Shannon Riley, Patrick Riley, Casey (Adam) Dudley Kaszuba, Mac Dudley, Ali Ruff, Lauren Ruff; sister, Mary Maritato; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Casey Amend.
