Sue retired from Ball State University. She lived her life for the Lord and was a member of Full Gospel Temple. First, Sue was a homemaker, she loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them and spending time with them and reading her Bible.
Survivors include two sons, Dan Cox (wife-Susan) and Robert Cox; sister, Pattie Whitehead (husband-Leamon); nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert A. Cox; and her daughter, Virginia "Ginger" Bantz.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Full Gospel Temple with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Family and friends may visit from 12-1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
