Joyce L. Winter, 81, of Willow Mill Park Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; passed away on January 4, 2017 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, PA. She was born on April 12, 1935 in Hopewell, PA; a daughter of the late Samuel E. Zimmerman, Sr. and Lela G. (Miller) Zimmerman. On July 1, 1951 she married Robert O. Winter. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2008. She is survived by daughters Cynthia Hinson, Carlisle, PA;
Judith married to Ron Perry, Shelly, Idaho; Catherine Wiser, Fredericksburg, VA and
Lorrie Kennedy, Harrisburg, PA; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; sister Janet Ritchey, Hopewell, PA and brother Richard Zimmerman married to Reta, TX.
She was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters:
Isabelle Zimmerman, Samuel Zimmerman Jr., Elizabeth Santarelli, John Zimmerman, James Zimmerman and Anna May Crandall.
Mrs. Winter was a member of Young Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg.
Joyce enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking and working on word searches and crossword puzzles. She was famous for her apple pie. She loved family and spending time with them.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at the Akers Funeral Home, Everett with Pastor Beth Pyles officiating.

Burial will be held at Duvall Cemetery, Six Mile Run.
