Beep was a member of the Fairmount American Legion, he also belonged to what he and his friends called The Old Farts Club. He enjoyed boating and skiing on the reservoir. He was a fan of the Colts and NASCAR, particularly Tony Stewart although he was a recent Danica Patrick convert. Above all else his favorite past time was pestering his daughter.
Lynn is survived by his wife Bonnie L. Bailey; his daughter Brook L. (Jeremy) Walsh; grandchildren Parker L. Walsh and Addison G. Walsh; and sister Lenda J. (Frank) Vickrey.
He was preceded in death by his father Ralph E Bailey; mother Ida Doris Batten; stepfather Robert Batten; and grandchildren Bailey Walsh, Hyram Walsh, and Casey Walsh.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Fairmount American Legion, 522 E 8th Street Fairmount, IN. The family will greet visitors from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Arrangements: Indiana Funeral Care.
