Barbara M. Haines, 61, of Mexico, went home with Jesus at 4:47 pm. Monday, Jan. 9, 2017 at her home.
Born May 26, 1955, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Ivan J. and Viola M. (Meredith) Zook.
Her husband James L. Haines, whom she married on May 1, 1974, survives.
Also surviving are: a brother, Robert I. Zook and wife, Connie, of Belleville; a sister, Jo Ann Smith and husband, John, of McVeytown; and a brother, James E. Zook and wife, Marge, of Belleville. Barbara was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth J. Zook on Dec. 23, 2000.
Barb was a 1973 graduate of Kishacoquillas High School, Reedsville.
She retired from Skills of Central PA, State College with 22 years of service.
Mrs. Haines was also a member of the New Beginning Community Church, Spruce Hill.
Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal with Rev. Frank J. Swartz officiating.
Interment will follow in the Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
