She was born in Oklahoma City on Jan. 9, 1953, to Betty M. Moore and Earl J. Moore, who both preceded her in death.
A 1971 graduate of David H. Hickman High School in Columbia, she attended Columbia College and graduated from the Kansas City College of Medical and Dental Assistants. She was a dental assistant in Kansas City for several years before returning to Columbia to pursue her talent and passion as an artist.
Survivors include her longtime companion, Jack King, and beloved cats, as well as two sisters, four brothers, and eight nieces and nephews.
