Ramsdell - CAPE ELIZABETH - Doris Anne Ramsdell, 72, of 349 Ocean House Road, died Wednesday at a Portland hospital after a long illness. She was born Sept. 7, 1903, in Groton, Mass., the daughter of Howard R. and Louise J. Flewelling Northrup. She was educated in Dalhousie, N.B. and Lowell, Mass. Mrs. Ramsdell was a communicant of St. Alban's Episcopall Church, a member of St. Alban's Guild, the Audubon Society and the Maine Poetry Society. Her first husband, Capt. Paul L. Litchfield, died in 1958. She leaves her husband Arthur E. Ramsdell; a daughter, Mrs. Justin (Louise) McIntire of South Harpswell; two sons, Paul L. Litchfield, Jr., of Cape Elizabeth and Dan B. Litchfield of Scarborough 11 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Burial office will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Alban's Episopal Church, with interment in Riverside Cemetery, here, in the spring. Visiting hours at Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland, tonight 7 to 9 p.m.
