Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Kirk Bodem officiating, followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Church.
Visitation 2-8pm Friday and 12 Noon Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Patty was born in Flint on September 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Baker) Aseltine. On June 10, 1950, she married Wayne Blevins in Flint. Patty worked side by side with her husband Wayne, in the business they started, Blevins Screw Products Inc. and continued to work until her passing. She was an active member of First General Baptist Church and First United Church for 55 years. Patty loved to make quilts for her family and loved to work in her flower gardens.
Surviving are sons, Bruce (Kaye) Blevins and Roger (Mary) Blevins;
daughter-in-law, Vicki Blevins;
grandchildren, Greg Blevins, Steve (Diana) Blevins, Jeff (Melissa) Blevins, Ben (Shantel) Blevins, Dr. Whitney (Garrett) Miller, Marlyce Serges, Myles Goff, and Parker Blevins;
great-grandchildren, Chloe Blevins, Mya Blevins, Grant Blevins, Harper Blevins and Joslyn Blevins,
brother, James Aseltine of Davison;
brother-in-law, Darrell Brinkley of Tennessee;
sister-in-law, Jean Morris of Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, on September 3, 2014, son, Mark Blevins, brother, Howard and sister, Betty.
