She was born February 23, 1925 in York, the daughter of the late Charles T. and Charlotte R. (Drawbaugh) Bolton.
She worked for Danskin as a pin ticket operator and later for Campbell Chain as an inspector. She was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship Church.
A visitation will be Wednesday 1 to 1:45 p.m. at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Ave., with a service to begin at 1:45 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Keeler officiating.
She is survived by children, Anne Kundert, of Lima, OH, Jeffrey Ruth and wife, Donna of Spring Grove, and Alan Ruth and companion Kay Chronister of York; a daughter-in-law, Beth Ruth of York; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Tracy of Glenville, Phyllis Munchel of York, Nancy Atkinson of Salem Cove, NJ; sisters in law Marty Bolton of York and Lois Bolton of York and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gerald E. Ruth, Jr.; two brothers, Richard Bolton and Charles Bolton; a son in law, Terry Kundert; and three brothers-in-law, Gerald Tracy and Louis Munchel, Tom Atkinson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice 3417-C Concord Rd. York, PA 17402.
