A native of Tara, Canada, he had resided in Indianapolis since 1923. He was sales manager of the Borden Milk Company when he retired in 1962 and had been with the firm for 35 years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and Carmel Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Grace E. Barclay; a daughter, Mrs. Suzanne Hawkins of Indianapolis, and one grandson.
Funeral services are pending at the Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary.
