Claudia Nell Price, 70 of Amarillo passed away January 7, 2017. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Second Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Griffin officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East. Claudia was born July 15, 1946 in Amarillo to Herschel and Marita Allison. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1964 and had a passion for keeping track of her classmates and organizing class reunions. She was a lifelong member of Second Baptist Church. Claudia married the love of her life, Tony Price on November 27, 1964 at Pierce St. Baptist Church. They were married for a little more than 52 wonderful years. Claudia and Tony owned and operated Price Overhead Door Company for more than 40 years together. Claudia was a very outgoing person who loved to spread her Christian faith. She never met a stranger and found great joy in making new friends. She loved to travel with Tony and enjoyed an active retirement near her childhood home. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Charles Ray Allison and David "Bud" Allison. She is survived by her husband, Tony Price of Amarillo; sons, Greg Price and wife Barb and Justin Price and wife Shellie both of Amarillo; sisters, Glenda Smyth and husband Danny of Amarillo and Shirley Thompson of Twin Falls, Idaho; brother, Leland "Shorty" Allison and wife Isabel of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Anthony Price and wife Rebecca and Leland Price, both of Amarillo; also by her sister-in-law, Phyllis Allison. The family suggest memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to Second Baptist Church, 419 N. Buchanan Amarillo, Texas.
